Charged me $30.00 over original price. When trying to explain myself they laughed and said they didn't have time for me. They told a elderly lady she didn't understand the concept of money. I will beverage there again

Overall not too terrible of a place to sell to. Nice people, good intentions, decent prices. On the other hand, I sold my inherited gold collection somewhere else.

Absolutely deserves the good reviews that it has received. I had only been to one other pawn shop, and upon seeing the good reviews I decided to give them a try. Not only were they friendly, they offered me what I believed my item was worth. They also took the time to educate me a little bit on the business so I had some clue as to what I was doing! PS- I was paying 6x the interest at the location I previously went to. Props to you guys for the good honest business!

I have been to several different pawn shops, but this one is by far the fairest of them all. First I went to one pawn shop and they offered me $270.00 for over $3,000.00 worth of jewelery (still in the box). Took it to Fort Street and they gave me $600.00, which is what I expected. Plus every slip is separate, so if you want to get out one item you can and leave the rest there. I highly recommend this pawn shop. Do not confuse this pawn shop with the one that is a few doors down. That one is terrible! I will always go to the Fort Street Pawn Street shop.
