Dirty hardcore gym. All the Hammer Strength is great however the rest of the gym is outdated and not maintained well. Great place to get angry and lift though.

The gym is a hot box, with no air conditioning. Is the staff afraid to turn it on??? They sit with a fan blowing on them, while the clients are courting heat stroke. DIRT, when was the last time the machines were cleaned and oiled?? What about the grimy dirt-caked air returns??? The dirt poses health hazards to the clients: respiratory and physical. Will the money saved from not using the air and hiring cleaning staff be offset by lawsuits??

The gym is a great gym and has everything I need for a good workout. It's always clean and the staff is very nice. The only downside is that at times there can be a long wait for both weight machines and cardio machines during peak hours and the gym doesn't open til 8am on Sat.

What can I say a gym is a gym. This is just a plain good all around gym. If you belong to L.P. then you can also use the Brownstown, and Dearborn powerhouse gyms.
