I am a new jetski owner and am on the learning curve.. when I flooded my hull I blew a fuse. I called Mike and he showed me how to change the fuse .He went out of his way to help me! He got me in the same day and went through step by step how to test and change the fuses! Mike's marine repair is friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you! I will be back!

I took my boat to have the motor rebuilt in April. Mike tells me 3 weeks to complete. It's now mid-July and he now tells me that it will be another 2 weeks. Mike never returns calls. I had to drive there several times to get an update and Mike always had an excuse and would tell me he will get started on it right away, but never did. Early June I told him I was going to take it someplace else and he begged me to keep it there. He said "I'm the best man to do this job". This time he took the motor off and sent it to the machine shop. End of June he returned my call for the 2nd time since this all started to tell me he got the block back and will be putting it together over the weekend. Now 2 weeks after that conversation, he returns my call and tells me it will be another 2 weeks. So it takes a month to put an outboard motor together? It's obvious that he has put my job to the end of the line even though I brought in in almost 3 months ago. I will be picking it up and taking it to another company. The new company will take another 4-6 weeks to complete. The new boat cover is trashed from being out in the weather and will have to be professionally cleaned. Don't know what the rest of the boat looks like yet. Find out in a few days. Court will be in his future. Completely ruined my summer!!! This is bad business and I will never take anything back to this man! I hear from the street he is not insured. Just a backyard mechanic! I would advise to not take anything to his company

I purchased a complete Mercruiser 454 as a replacement motor for my 23 foot POWERQUEST in February.
I ran this motor around Lake St Clair all summer and am so pleased with its performance. Mike did a darn good job in building this motor.

I am Ron Wilson and i wrote a bad review about Mike, but Mike did apologize and came out and fixed my boat. I am one to always give a person the chance to make things right and Mike did that.

I HAVE USED MIKES SERVICE FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS AND HAVE BEEN PLEASED. HE ALERTS ME OF MINOR ISSUES THAT COULD LATER BECOME VERY EXPENSIVE.
I HAVE ALSO BOUGHT PARTS AND HAD HIM WALK ME THRU A REPAIR ON 6 HP MOTOR WATER PUMP. MOST OTHERS DON'T GIVE YOU THE TIME OF DAY.
