Called in to order dinners with candied yams , woman on the phone said they didn't have it ... So I called back as I thought of a substitution for candied yams , which was collard greens ... Was then told they were out of collard greens as well .... So as a last resort I ordered Mac and cheese

I had an issue with my take out order. Not only did the restaurant replace my meal, but a kind team member delivered it to my home. The food is delicious..

My brothers from the ICB of CCC in the NYC totaly enjoyed our Christmas get together. The food was EXCELLENT, hot and fresh. The ice tea was home made and delicious, so too was the peach cobbler. The lovely owner (Cynthia) was gracious and accomidating. My brothers and their wives, I'm single - thank you for not asking, had a great time. We shall return in even greater numbers. (tho seating was limited)

I must say The food was good, I'm a picky person and my husband is also.... I liked the food and was shocked that my hubby agreed. We both said we could have our 21 year old son's Dinner party there... My kids only likes mine and my sisters cooking.... I think he will enjoy having his dinner party here.... Cynt and My sister go way back..... Thanks Ty for the good dinners last night

I had the opportunity to enjoy this fine establishment several times when visiting Jersey the food was great and the owner Cynthia treated me and my party as if we were family loved the cracked and the uptown

We just had our company holiday party here and I can't sing their praises loud enough. The food was amazing (especially the macaroni and cheese) andthe service was excellent. I feel like we wouldn't have had such an amazing time had we gone anywhere else. They had everything decorated so beautifully for the holiday, too! This place was so good, in fact, that every one of the 30-something people that came said they would go back again and wanted me to make sure I set up the party there next year, too. Cynthia - I can't thank you enough for putting together such a wonderful event. You and your staff were simply amazing and I can't wait to stop by again.

Do not come here ! This is the worst restaurant ever!!! Cynthia is a ugly bitter human being. She has a terrible attitude with everyone including her customers. She never fired anyone everyone quits from that job. I hate the restaurant and I'm sure you would too

The owner of this restaurant runs this place on lies. Cynthia is her name, and she is very dishonest. I would not recommend Beyond the C Seafood Restaurant in Linden, NJ to anyone. My family hosted a birthday dinner over there and prior had paid the owner to provide us buffet services, however when we arrived there were only 3 entrees present and we were short of drinks. Cynthia was very unwelcoming, rude, ruffled with our guest and disrupted our event. She kept on asserting she was an attorney (for fear that we were going to sue her ) In the end, guest were displeased and everybody wanted to leave. Please don't go there. Invest your money in some other restaurant where you'll be treated with respect and get your moneys worth.

Beyond the C Seafood/Soulful Restaurant in Linden, NJ is nothing to write home about. Diners, I warn you: Steer clear for your own good!!! I planned a family member's birthday dinner with this restaurant and the owner Cynthia, as well as the co-owner, Rob failed in every way to make our experience at least a fair one. The only people I applaud are the kitchen manager and the front-desk lady. Initially, I paid per head for the food and was cheated out of 4 entrees. I got a lousy buffet of only 3 entrees, little or no drinks for my guest and very nasty attitude from Cynthia. Cynthia argued with my guest, was very disoriented the duration of our dinning experience and lied several times about the orders she failed to provide. A few guests I spoke to said, the food wasn't that great and her demeanor disrupted their night. Needless to say this place is a waste of time and money. In the end a few of us reverted to Dragonfly restaurant and had a wonderful experience over there. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone based on Cynthia's unprofessional behavior, but foremost her dishonesty and her lies.

The best seafood I've tasted in the area. The food is made to order, so you know its fresh. The wait is never long, and their customer service is wonderful. The inside of the restaurant is very warm and welcoming. Im telling you should try it out for yourself.
