I went to the so-called memorial garden to honor my husband on our anniversary and his birthday yesterday, and was appalled at the unkempt, weedy, disgusting kidney shaped area that had no marking as to what it was, no little engraved marker with his name anywhere, except for the pathetic caligraphy of his name inside the building behind glass that took almost 6 months to do. As to spreading his ashes? That pathetic lawn has not been overturned in years, so where do they spread it? I am an avid gardener, and my garden is one of extreme beauty and pride that people passing by ask if they can see the back. This was an insult to the memory of my husband, and feel I tarnished his memory by having his ashes (if they were even spread) at your facility. Having a dandelion and crabgrass spread around that nasty area outside of the crematorium is not what I call a garden. I am sick that this is what his family will see should they visit. Totally sacrilegious. Also, many of the glass enclosures were open and subject to desecration should some nut wish to do so. Pitiful management for a very emotional situation.]
