School Six is a coeducational elementary institution that provides a variety of educational and extracurricular programs to students in kindergarten through grade five. It is a recipient of the Reading First Grant, which includes intensive instruction in reading for students. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, including English, mathematics, social studies, technology education and science. The school provides instruction in conversational Spanish to students in grades two through five. In addition, it offers basic skills instruction, after-school homework and summer tutorial programs. The school s classrooms feature digital cameras, scanners and video projectors. Additionally, it conducts field trips and assemblies, as well as has a parent-teacher association. Located in Linden, N.J., School Six is a part of Linden Public Schools.
