Terrible service. An empty restaurant but yet it took 1 1/2 hours to get food. Fajitas swimming in oil. Margaritas were pretty good. Empanadas greasy as well. Service was horrible because of the length of time that we waited for food with no attentiveness of the server. The restaurant needs to figure out it wants to be latin, American or Mexican. Wants to be great but needs to tweak some things. If it were crowded I could understand but it was not a busy night.

Nice. unpretentious place. Very authentic Latin food. The fajita (seafood) was a little bland, but the mofongo dipping sauce that came with my husband's order of mofongo con camarones was fantastic. I drizzled some over my seafood to make yummy fajitas.
The house margarita was good.
The severs were very attentive and helpful.
We will be back to try some other meals from the menu.

I'd been in Don Tequila Bar, always good food and fun. I Went with some family friends, to celebrate my birthday. The place had a fun atmosphere and busy.
The food was perfect, and speedy service which always makes for a better evening.

We were impressed, we will definitely going again.

This a kindly place for the whole family, The food and services are excellent. I have visit another places in New Jersey ,but The Don Tequila Bar is my favorite.

Amazing food & service! Oh and drink specials were great ! The portion of food that you receive is definitely worth more than what you spend. ENJOY

The server was knowledgeable of the menu, and was very informative. We ordered a few small plates , The ceviche was genuine. Did someone say Sopas the 7 Marces with lobster,shrimp,mussels, squid,fish and crab was awesome!! and the Camarones ala Diabla was authentic, and the atmosphere was cozy! we really enjoyed our experience. it is nice to see that the Restaurant is open again, I had a chance to talk to the owner he is the real deal.
