Provided by YP.comOur salesman seemed genuinely interested in helping us to find the best vehicle to meet our needs and wants but also fit into our financial parameters. I never felt like he was hiding any information or steps in the process. This is our second purchase with Low Book and we will continue to do business with them.

Provided by YP.comCrooks! Plain and simple. I've never been lied to like this before. I live in PG and have a mechanic I go to in Provo, but my car needed safety and emissions so I decided to just do that close to home. Got a coupon online for Lowbook for $10. They honored the coupon but that's were my good experience ends. They came back and said I passed emissions but failed safety because my rear brakes were at 1/32 and 3 of my 4 tires were "into the secondary rubber." Rudy I believe was the salesman and he immediately got to selling. Offered to do the rear brakes for $140 and gave me a few quotes on tires. I had just replaced the rear drum brakes about a year and a half ago along with the front discs, and fronts are supposed to outlast rears 2-3 times over. This raised a concern for me so I took it to my trusted mechanic in Provo. He pulled off the rear wheels and inspected the brakes and showed them to me. Looked brand new still. They were at about 8/32 he said. I couldn't believe it. I took some pictures of the brakes on my phone. He looked at the tires and said they were close, but not into the secondary rubber yet. When I had inspected them prior to all this I knew they were getting close but they hadn't worn past the wear indicators yet so I thought I would be good. So he did an override in the system and passed me for safety. Now, I'll give Low Book a pass on the tires - that was kind of a judgment call - even though technically I passed. But the brakes - that is either utter incompetence or outright lying - neither of which is acceptable. I could take the measuring device and see that the brakes were not anywhere close to 1/32. Straight up lying to me to sell me new brakes. The inspector was B. Chappell and the sales guy was Rudy I think. Classic bait and switch. Baited me with a $10 safety and emissions and then tried to sell me unnecessary parts/repairs. Will NEVER RETURN TO LOW BOOK!!! I don't hate too many things - but a LIAR - is at the top of the list.

Provided by YP.comI would not go here. They do the least amount of safety according to the service manager. Talking to the service manager about the tread pulling apart from the tire. And damaging my vehicle only two weeks after driving off the lot, He claimed the cracks were not deep enough to be against the safety laws. And even though the suggested expiration date (suggested by the tire company) passed four years ago he claimed he was doing the minimum requirements for Utah safety laws.
So after owning the truck for two weeks I have holes and cracks in my dually fender and it is no longer legal because the tire ripped off two marker lights and a tail light. Even though I pointed out the cracks to the salesman before the purchase he "assured" they have been inspected and completely safe . So, after putting $3,000 down just a couple weeks ago, now it's like I'm putting another $1000 down. The best they will offer me is splitting the cost of new tires and I'm on my own with the body damage.
They only, only do the minimum requirements for safety. If we had been in a different place, a different driver or carrying the 52' trailer my salesman knew I was pairing with this truck, ultimately it could have killed someone. So be wary of any purchase here, don't let them armorall your tires so the cracks aren't as visible.
