Recently I made an appointment to use the self-service pet wash for my small dog. My reservation was confirmed, but when I got there the door was locked so I rang door bell at which time a very large door leaped at the door barking at myself and my dog. Then the person that was grooming the dog put a rope around that dogs neck and pulled it away from the door and let us in, during this time the large dog continued to jump and bark at myself and my dog. I closed the door and at that time the guy holding the large dog turned it loose, it then charged my dog. My dog was pinned next to the wall trying to hide behind my legs while the large dog sniffed and growled at her. While that was happening the groomer told me that I should come back later because it would not work for me to bath my dog at that time and I should leave. By this time I am terrified for my dog and also myself that we were going to be bite by this dog. I told the groomer to please catch the dog so that I could leave without being bitten. Once he caught the large dog, it continued to leap at me and my dog, I picked my dog up who was shaking with fear and left. I will never ever step foot in DIRTY DAWGS again! I feel that the groomer (who was the shop owner) should not have scheduled me to come at that time he endangered not only my dog (who is 13yrs old and deaf) but also myself. So my advise is to only schedule a time for your dog when it will be the ONLY DOG!!!!
