Quality Services for the Autism Community is a nonprofit organization that provides services to persons with autism spectrum disorder throughout New York City and Long Island, N.Y. It provides services to more than 800 individuals with autism. Its services include early intervention and preschool programs for children, as well as day programs and residential services for adults. Established in 1978, Quality Services for the Autism Community also provides educational and support services to family members and caregivers of persons with autism. In addition, the organization conducts several after-school, day rehabilitation and Saturday school programs. Quality Services for the Autism Community also offers a center-based preschool program that provides academic instruction to children between the ages of 3 and 5 who suffer from autism.
