I stopped by this business to purchase a wig due to the fact that I suffer from alopecia. The store windows displayed posters of 100% Human Hair wigs and extensions. Upon entering, a young woman of dark skin asked could she help me. I explained my issue and inquired about purchasing a 100% Human Hair Wig. She led me to a wall and explained that everything on one shelf was Human Hair for "people like me". I am caucassian.

When asked what color I preferred, i replied brown. There were no brown Human Hair Wigs and proceeded to have me try on blonde wigs. They were not to my liking and as I was about to leave the business, the young woman went to the back of the stock room with the manager then came out with a brown wig, claiming she finally found one! I was excited, and tried it on. It would do. I purchased it at app. $74.00 and exited. After getting in the car to leave, I examined the inside of the wig tag and it was marked "monocrylic" ...which was definitely NOT Human Hair in the least.

I took the wig back into the store and explained that I had been sold merchandise that was not what I had asked for. The manager made a grimaced face. I was exhausted and ready to go home, so I told him that I would take the blonde wig and dye it at home. The manager sucked his teeth and admitted that the blonde wig was NOT Human Hair either. It was synthetic. He then stated that they had NO Human Hair Wigs at all. disgusted, i collected my money and let. ONLY after I presented the receipt.

These people do NOT care about the customers at all. They only care about a sale. Even to the point of lying to someone who has no choice but to wear wigs due to a medical not soley a fashion statement.

Do yourselves a favor and not patronize this place. They are dishonest, and are only in the business to profit off of first time customers...because I HIGHLY doubt they have repeat business.

There is a Wig Shoppe about 15 minutes from their store located in Conway, SC on Hwy. 501 in Coastal Mall, called AJAs. They are FULLY stocked and have great specials and discounts. It's a beauty emporium as far as I am concerned and the service is nice.
