Provided by YP.comNo one can do it better. Excellent body work, perfect color matching everytime, consistent professional customer service. Kevin has built his business upon the highest quality work. He has to deal with insurance companies who are in it for themselves. He insists on doing the job right and expects to be compensated. I pay my deduction and he deals with the insurance adjuster to get everything required to completely restore the damage to my vehicle. He has maintained hard working employees for many years who produce outstanding results. They have always gone beyond what was necessary to restore to the original state. They have spent extra time bringing original factory finishes up to Kevin's quality standards. Otherwise, there would be a noticeable difference compared to his painters beautiful work. You can't beat Kevin and his team when you need auto body repair. I highly recommend Custom Auto.

Provided by YP.comThe quality of the work itself was as expected (they came highly recommended by two co-workers, and the local Infiniti dealership). It's what happened before my appointment, during the appointment set-up and afterward that disturbs me. When I called to set up my appointment, I called from my work phone. I work for an advertising company with whom Custom Auto ALREADY does business. The gentleman who answered hung up in my face three times straight...even when I tried to interject to say I was calling to do business with them, and not to sell anything (again...they already advertise with us). He still hung up in my face. I then called a fourth time, but this time from my personal cell phone. I was then able to ask my question about their physical location and about a convenient time when I could bring my car by. He was extremely pleasant that time. A couple of months earlier, I had been given two separate repair estimates...one for the damage caused by the recent hit and run, and another for separate work I wanted to have done, possibly later. When I brought my car in, I asked that both jobs be done (to take advantage of the rental being paid for by insurance), but I wanted to know if there could be any price-break for doing both jobs now instead doing the other one later. I was told it was doubtful, but that he would ask "the owner" and call and let me know, and verify at that time whether or not I still wanted to do both jobs. The next time I heard back from ANYONE, my car was already ready for pick-up. When I arrived to pay for my repairs (the work was good), the tally was only half of what I expected. I then learned that both jobs were not completed. It was assumed, I guess, that if I couldn't get the price-break, that I didn't want (or couldn't afford?) to pay for both. I'm really not sure of the thought process behind not calling about the potential to make more money. Very odd indeed. The apology for the "misunderstanding" was minimal to non-existent, and the uncomfortable silence as I left so very obvious. I now have to pay out-of-pocket for a rental whenever I decide to have the other work done. That part was only irritating. What followed later was infuriating. When I bought my Infiniti G37 two years ago, the used car dealer purchased and shipped to me BRAND NEW mats as a goodwill gesture. One month after my repairs at Custom Auto, I went to vacuum my car for the first time. That's when I noticed that my NEW front passenger mat had been replaced with an older, oil-soaked, discolored mat, and placed under my vinyl covers so that I would not notice. I thought I had noticed a slight change in color to the vinyl during the daytime, but I just thought maybe it was because my vinyl covers were getting older and finally starting to yellow a bit from the sun. When I raised the vinyl cover to vacuum that day, I was shocked. Knowing that a whole month later, no one would claim to know anything about what happened to MY new mat, I just decided to buy another one and move on. Unfortunately, I discovered that I would have to buy a whole new set---Infiniti only sells sets, not single mats. I guess that also explains why it was so palatable for someone to take mine instead of buying their own mat. Overall, the work was good, and done in a timely enough fashion. If you use this shop, my only suggestions would be to make sure that you get a clear verbal (written if you can) understanding of the work that is to be done, and DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ACCESSORIES BEFORE YOU LEAVE. Good luck!

I have has several repairs over 20 yrs. The work has been excellent every time. They treated me professional each time. I have watched grow through the years and highly recommend them to anyone looking for body work and wants quality. I have tried several shops in little rock and been dissappointment each time until I found Kevin Strayhorn.
Honestly It was his wife that made the first impression. I had never seen a female estimator before and had my reservations. But when she treated me like family and delivered the first major repair to complete satisfaction I was hooked. There is nothing like a warm smile and sincere appreciation that makes you feel good when trusting people we spend are money with.
