Provided by YP.comI didn't actually have any work done, but I have to give props to "David" for his customer service over the phone. I called and described my printer problems & he told me based on what I described, what the problem most likely was and what the cheapest solution would be for that problem. Very friendly and helpful.

Provided by YP.comI went to Datafix with a netbook needing data recovery and a laptop with broken hinges. I called first to see if these were services they provided, and was given a hesitant 'yes' - citing that they might have to order hinges, and that they'd have to see the netbook to determine whether recovery was possible. I went in and was first received by a somewhat less-than enthusiastic employee at the front, but I was overall happy with the service provided to myself and my devices. Fortunately, they had a set of hinges, and they were willing to use an external hard drive I'd brought to deposit any recovered data from the netbook (Best Buy is not willing to do this and instead requires that you pay for an external hard drive, bringing the cost to around $185 - Datafix charged only around $80). They'd estimated my devices would be ready the next day, and I was pleasantly surprised. I was thrilled, even, when they called later that afternoon, and I was able to pick up my devices in the same day. The tech who recovered the data was able to confirm that the hard drive on my netbook was shot. Due to the type of hard drive it required, he suggested that it might be cheaper to by a new netbook instead of a new hard drive. However, I was able to find a hard drive online for $50, which I felt was reasonable and a better choice than scrapping the netbook. One of the best parts of dealing with Datafix, was I felt what they charged was very reasonable. For my two devices to be ready the same day (I had given them an open timetable to work, but still saw to my devices quickly), to be fixed so satisfactorily, and then be charged LESS for both devices than what Best Buy wanted to charge for *just* data recovery, made my day. Overall, I was extremely pleased with Datafix, and will definitely go back should I need computer services again.
