This is my 25th year in business and for 11 years running I have been voted "Best of the Best" in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette & Arkansas Times magazine poll. I began my career as a BioMedical Photographer and did that for 10 years, winning numerous awards of excellence. One of my Medical prints is on permanent display in the Smithsonian. I began my new self made reality in 1986 and started my own business, Dixie Knight Photography Inc. I specialize in people and animal portraiture. Photographically illustrated 3 books ; “Zap! Ray Gun Classics”, by Leslie Singer; “Legacy in Clay: The Ceramic Art of Prehistoric Arkansas” by Kent Westbrook; and “Embossed American Axes, A Photographic Guide”, by Dr. Jerome T. Grismer. and published in a wide range of magazines. Sold humorous images to greeting card companies, West Graphics and Avanti.
