I was referred to OBGYN Dr. Michael Henry from one of his previous patients who is the mother of my nephew. I was 3 months pregnant at the time, but unfortunately I lost it due to the fetus stopped growing. I had a D&C procedure done by Dr. Henry, after I woke up from surgery I was in tremendous pain but thankfully they gave me plenty of good pain medicine. Once I was feeling better only then did he give the okay to release me and allow me to go home to recooperate. I must say having the D&C was an experience I do not want to go through again because of all the gross substances that dispensed out in fist sized amounts. Other than the process of recovering which was devastating, the surgery went well and the staff at the Hospital was very appreciated. I had no major issues after the D&C, but a while later I developed a lump under my left boozum that continued to grow as time passed. It has been over a year and the lump went from being the size of a quarter to the size of a lemon and has caused discomfort especially after I eat. I have chosen to be seen by Dr. Henry once again, I feel that he is a great caring doctor and he has a great staff who are very nice as well as compassionate. I am looking forward to my appoitment and will be back on yet again to share my experience.
