I have patronized this store for many years. The selection is still unique, stylish, and absolutely fabulous I would say, however...they have surely changed their pricing structure in the last couple of years. This chain has now become more expensive than Haverty's or Bassett...pushing me right out of the opportunity to remain a regular cash-paying customer. Buying from I.O. Metro now requires a little consideration and often brings serious lamentation with me, as the furniture and design lover I am. This past year, I purchsed a bed that they carry from a different furniture dealer and saved nearly $500. That was a very sad occasion for this original I.O. Metro fan who once took a vacation day...just to travel leisurely to the northwest part of the state so I could spend the day visiting the three original stores for a fun day of shopping, and did the same to attend the Dallas store's grand opening. Also disappointing...it has been a very long time since I've noticed them to have a 75% off "Tent Sale" (clearance). On a positive note, I've never had a problem with ANY purchase...which means something.
