The Little Rock Police Department offers law enforcement, crime prevention and community policing services. It maintains a link between the general public, department personnel and other agencies. It operates through detective, communications, patrol, records and training divisions. The department is responsible for taking calls from the public, obtaining all of the necessary information from the caller and dispatching officers to calls for service. The Little Rock Police Department s investigations division solves forgeries, frauds, thefts, robberies, rapes, child and adult abuse and homicide cases. The department is also responsible for maintaining all offense and arrest reports and internal records generated by the police department. It is located in Little Rock, Ark.
