I have been a member since July 2012. I absolutely love the atmosphere, which is that of a small church. Pastor Kelly always has a great word to share, and bible studies are very interesting as well. There's always a lot going on. We have many ministries and always helping in the community. We are breaking racial barriers joining with the Hispanic ministries at the SW location on Geyer Springs and every so often on Barrow. EVERYONE is welcomed at the second!!! I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER FOR 3 YRS. SECOND BAPTIST IS TRULY A CHURCH HOME WHERE YOU CAN BE PART OF ANYTHING YOU WANT TO BE APART OF. THERE ARE MANY ACTIVITIES THAT INVOLVE THE COMMUNITY OUTSIDE OF CHURCH AND MANY RESOURCE SBC YOU AND YOUR FAMILY CAN USE. THE SCHOOL IS WONDERFUL TOO. MY SON LOVES THE SCHOOL AND THE KIDS THAT HAVE BEEN THERE AND THERE ENJOY SCHOOL THERE. LETS NOT FOR GET I PERSONALLY HAVE EXPERINCE THE TEACHING EXPRIENCE AT SECOND BAPTIST CHRISTIAN ACADEMY TOO AND LOVED IT. COME ON BY AND JOIN US FOR 1 OF 3 SERVICE.

This is the best anointed, Holy Ghost filled church on this side of heaven. When you enter the doors of The 2nd, I promise you will not leave like you came if you came in Jesus wonderful name. If you come broken hearted, our pastor, Dr. Kevin A Kelly is God's assistant physcian, if you come with a bowed down head, once the spirit hit you from other spirit filled praisers, your head will lift up and your hands will too. We couldn't have chosen a better church here in the Little Rock area. My family and I have been faithful members since October 15, 2003. What a great church. We are well on our way. To God be the glory!!!

Pastor Kelly is a very good teacher and wonderful leader. If you come to the 2nd will not leave the same way you came. you can understand the messages that he bring forth. When you come worried and down you will be lifted up and you can take the message with you all week even in the next week. Be Bless in his wonderful name.

As a single young adult, I have found that Second Baptist has an active young adults' ministry for Christians 18 to 30, as well as a great Single's Ministry for those who have never married, are widowed or divorced. Overall, it is a friendly and welcoming church. There is something to do for everyone!

Second Baptist Church Is A Spirit Fed Church that meets the needs of the People.
