Provided by YP.comTazikis is GREAT. The food is always fresh. The environment is pleasant and the prices are very good. Unlike street Greek food, Tazikis does NOT serve the processed ground meat that some have come to expect for Gyros. Instead of serving the "bologna" of cart food, Tazikis serves fresh carved leg of lamb, beef and chicken--grilled and placed in a pita. They offer a variety of sauces: the traditional Greek tzatziki, but also other horseradish and mustardy sauces. Make sure you order the one you want! In addition to upscale Gyros, Tazikis offers a number of platters and salads--as well as sandwiches. It's by far the best Greek food--and the best casual restaurant--in the area.

Provided by YP.comLoving greek food, my husband and I were excited to try this restaurant. I have been eating Gyros for years at numerous different places since I was a kid, and have NEVER had one this terrible. This was the only "lamb" I've ever eatin on one that wasn't shaved (tasted like large chewy chunks of steak). The so called Greek sauce that comes on them (one of the things we were craving most) wasn't a normal greek sauce, it had a strong mustard/vinegar taste, the pita tasted like a gordita shell from Taco Bell, and it was the smallest and most expensive Gyro I've ever had. They were so dossapointing that we even tried calling Laylas (a good Greek place the next exit down) in the middle of our meal, so we could leave and eat there instead. My husband being a strong southern country boy said that if Tazikis Gyro would have been his first, he would have never wanted another one from any other place. I don't know how this restaurant is still in business. No one ever asked us how our food was, and when we walked back from the patio, a few teenage workers were standing around doing nothing.... Bad food, not great service, and the bathroom was a wreck (even walking in right behind a lady that works there), she didn't bother picking up the numerous paper towels on the floor, or replacing all the empty tolliet paper. Would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE EVER. The only reason I gave it two stars... The patio was nice to sit on, and the greek salad had a decent dressing, other than that, I would have chosen to give 0 stars.
