Provided by YP.comWARNING! DO NOT USE! I had a horrendous experience with Arlis. During our general inspection of our recent home purchase, it was noted that there was a leak coming from the plumbing and dripping into the basement. The sellers agreed to have this fixed and contacted Arlis with APB Plumbing. After Arlis "fixed" the issue, we thought all should have been taken care of.
2 weeks later (the day before our closing), we did one final walk through and noticed the pipe was leaking again! We contacted the listing agent and Arlis was again called to "fix" the leak. He claimed that this time, he would be replacing the plumbing instead of doing patch work.
3 weeks later, we found while the pipe itself wasn't leaking, the Y connector connecting from our laundry sink to the "replaced" pipe was leaking. I again contacted the listing agent who stated that since the leak was after closing, it would be a matter between the plumber and myself.
I then contacted Arlis personally to see if he would do warranty work and fix the leak. He told me that since the leak was fine when he left, he would charge me a $75 trip charge plus materials and labor! I told him it was warranty work just like when it hadn't been fixed after the first time. He stated he charged the seller both times? I ended up having to call in a different plumber and pay him to fix the leak. It's been 6 weeks now and no problems. How can a "certified" plumber not be able to fix a leak?
Unless you want to get an incompetent "certified" plumber that isn't able to fix a simple leak and likes to rip people off, I'd go elsewhere.
