Provided by YP.comI found that the owner and his stamp assistant are patient and cooperative.
I have been coming to the shop for two years and browse the reasonably priced first day covers, sheets of mint stamps and the coin selection. When "sellers" come in with stamps they want to sell, many are disappointed that their inherited collection is of no or little value when I overhear a conversation. I can buy mint postage from the 1950's and later at a 20% discount from face value at the shop, and I chuckle when sellers are in disbelief that their mint postage is best used for postage. When I read the last comment, I thought I would respond... which I never would do under normal circumstances. If you have something to have appraised or sell, I understand this is a "for profit" business and the shop will tell you without delay if they have or have no interest. Even had I the opportunity to buy from the disappointed seller, I would not want what they carried in myself. I drive 30 miles to get to the shop and look forward to see what might be found that fit my budget and interest.

Provided by YPmobileThis owner told me was interested in me stamp collection and after driving 100 miles I arrived at his shop. 3 minutes after I walked in he decided he wasn't buying stamps anymore!

Provided by YP.comWent to this store today to both buy and sell some items. Website says that "We are committed to making a visit to our store a pleasurable experience and practice kindness to all who pass through our door." Total crap. The guy seemed annoyed with me as soon as he let me in (apparently he keeps the door locked). He saw the stamps in my hand, took them from me, looked at the first one and the last one, and told me that he didn't need any of them. I then asked if he had any proof and/or mint coin sets that he could show me, and he brushed me off saying that he couldn't help me. I don't think he was busy, as nobody else was in the store and I saw him sitting behind his counter before he let me in. Everyone is entitled to a bad day, but he could atleast fake it!
