I loaded my mower into my vehicle to take it Buck's Service, and while driving there I made a mental note to take off my mower's grass clippings deflector when I arrived. I have a mulching blade on my mower and the deflector allows the mulched trimmings to spray into the yard as I mow. I dropped off the mower, and of course I forgot to detach the deflector. Two months after I dropped the mower off, I got a call to pick it up. The mower did not have its deflector. I asked them where it was, and they of course denied losing it. I told them that I distinctly remember dropping the mower off with the deflector attached, but they continued to deny losing it. Also, the mower had each of the wheels set at a different height, which is a simple thing to adjust, but does not bode well for a full-service $130.00 tune-up.
