Very happy with my water heater installation. Doug was very efficient and nice to work with. The installation went in quickly and very cleanly. I will definitely use Doug again.

I have been a landlord for more than 10 years and I only let Master Drains work on my plumbing for the properties that I own. I have had them come out at my different properties and fix multiple things (i.e. ball valve repair, anti-siphon valve repair, toilet repair, bathtub facet repair, etc.). They do a terrific job every time and provide realistic estimates that they have met each time they come out. I will continue to use Master Drains for all of my business and I highly recommend them as a terrific team to get the job done for all of your needs! Keep up the great work guys!!!

Very satisfied with Master Drains quality of work. They are not the cheapest in town but by far the most thorough. You get what you pay for.Doug was out to locate and clear our main sewer line which is 4 inches in diameter and 245 feet in length constructed of clay and abs pipe. Doug ran his rooter/snake down 150 feet of sewer line which cleared our clog. He also inspected 200 feet of sewer line by camera. When Doug was finished I was sure the clog was cleared and I had a very good understanding of the sewer pipe condition. I told Doug that during our remodel (less than 6 months ago) we replaced/added 65 feet of the sewer pipe in the middle of our 245 feet sewer line. That work was NOT done by Master Drains. He noted the new pipe should have included a sewer clean out and the pipe material should have been PVC/Schedule 40 rather than ABS. ABS is typically used indoors. Reputable plumbers recommend sewer clean outs every 100 feet. Had a clean out been installed Doug would have been able to reached and clear debris beyond the 150 foot mark. Anytime the snake is cutting beyond 150 feet the risk of snapping the snake is very high. That would be a bad day. Thanks to Doug for clearing our clog and educating me on the condition of our sewer line. I now must contemplate when to dig up the yard or driveway to access the sewer line so a new sewer clean out can be added. This is an expense that could have been avoided had I hired Master Drains to add the 65 feet of pipe.

I had Jim out yesterday to fix a major issue with my water pressure. He was able to replace my PRV very quickly and also went out of his way to fix a couple of other issues that I was having, even though I didn't mention them when I scheduled an appointment. The price was very reasonable as well. I was expecting to have to sell a kidney but I was very happy when I saw the invoice. They are very upfront with pricing over the phone as well. I will be having them back to work on another project in the fall. I highly recommend these guys!

I had water backing up into my basement after taking a shower. After reading all the reviews on this site as well as checking the BBB I placed a call to Master Drains. When the call was answered I stated that I had water backing up into my basement. The man on the other end responded, "uh huh." It was more of a grunt then a responce. I was a little shocked and said well I was hoping to make an appointment for you to come look at it. He replied as if I was bothering him that he had no one available. If I had know my service call would upset his day I wouldn't have placed the call in the first place. As he seemed rather rude I'm quite glad he wasn't available.

I had Applewood out to look at a slow draining shower in my basement. They "tried" to snake it and made it worse, then wanted $9000 to replace a section of sewer pipe under my basement bathroom to fix the problem, plus I'd have to pay someone to re-tile the bathroom. Doug from Master Drains came out a couple of days later, had the drain cleared in 5 minutes for $175. If you want someone who wants to fix your problem and earn your money by repeat business, not by going for the big repair jobs.

Master Drains has been our plumber for over 10 years. Doug is prompt, professional, and really cares for the customer. He will assess your situation and give you honest, dependable options. His prices a very competetive. I decided to just "try" another company for an outside drainaged problem. They came out and gave us an estimate of over $200. Doug came out, ran the drain line, told me it drained into rock and there was not much we could do. He did not charge me for this service. This is the benefits of a small business where as big companies have to charge for any service. I will never again even get an estimate from the "other guys". Master Drains is the one for us.

These guys were referred to us by a co-worker. We got in touch with them easily. Their work was fast and they were friendly. Master was the second company we called, and we're glad we did. They did the same job for 350 that Applewood quoted 2100 for. That's right, six times the price. Master didn't attempt three separate up-sales like Applewood did either. This is definitely our new go to plumber, and we will refer friends to them too.

I struggled with a shower drip and finally called Master Drain. They actually tried to talk me through doing the repair myself, but I needed a professional. Doug was at my house one hour after I called, and completed the repair quickly. The service was very professional, quick, and courteous.I'm calling Master Drain the next time I need a plumber!

Great customer service and they stand by their work. I had a busted pipe and they answered on a Saturday, showed up a few minutes early and did great work. Would recommend them to anyone.

I called on a Saturday morning and a real person answered the phone. He gave me a quote and promised a call back within 10 minutes. Five minutes later Jim called. He was three hours out on another job and that was fine. Jim called and showed up in less than three hours. Prompt, courteous, and professional. Their level of customer service is rare these days. I've used others and had mixed results. Highly recommended and they are now my go to plumbing company. None better and I'll soon have them out for another issue we discussed. They use first rate products in their repairs, and try to use products made in the USA. For me that is another plus.

I called about water leaking into our basement ceiling. Jim called when he was on his way and came on time. He was courteous and professional. He quickly identified our issue and performed repairs for a reasonable price. I would definitely use these guys again!

Since when does a plumber call when they're on the way (as promised), show up right when they say they will, complete the job quickly and effectively, clean up and charge exactly what was quoted? That was my experience. Will definitely be calling Master Drains again if I'm in need of a plumber.

Doug went out of his way to accommodate me catching my plane when I had a sewer back-up at my house. He was thorough and educational. I highly recommend his services.

It was 10:00 AM and I called Doug explaining the problem with my downstairs shower drain spewing up black "goop". By 11:00 Doug was there, the problem was explained, and corrected. In today's business enviroment is is very reassurring to received prompt, courtious, professional customer service at reasonable fair prices. Without a doubt, this is the company to call.

I called Master at 7:00 A.M. on New Years Day. Jim was at my home by 8:30 and we were up and running again shortly thereafter. Price was fair and I have no complaints. I have to say that none of the three "Service Magic" recommended companies were even open New Years Day, in spite of assertions of being "24/7" operations. I have found my new favorite plumber!

I shut off the water last night from a pipe burst and called Doug early this morning. He came out within the hour and did an excellent job capping off the copper line. He was very courteous and concientious about keeping the work area clean. We talked about possible water damage and what he would recommend as far as replacing insulation etc. I would recommend him to anyone for their plumbing needs.Paul

I called Doug on Monday morning around 9 am to look at a large leak in the water heater of a rental unit of mine. By 10:30-11am he was there, assessed the situation and proposed a solution. He informed me what he thought it would take for both items and had the job done by 3pm. Very professional, curtious and clean. My renters were very happy with the service Doug provided. We also had a squeaky pressure valve in our main home that Doug came out the next day and replaced. Thanks for the great service...

After returning home from vacation to find my hardwood floors buckling in my kitchen and my basement leaking, I immediately looked for a plumber. Based on the quality reviews I found on Dex, I contacted Master Drains and was pleasantly surprised. Polite and professional, Doug diagnosed my problem over the phone - a water valve with the dishwasher.Then, after many headaches with dishwasher repairmen, who continued to misdiagnose and blame the problem on poor plumbing, Doug came out to confirm his initial suspicions. Within seconds, he showed me exactly where the problem was so I could get the dishwasher folks back in line.In this day and age, it's really hard to find reliable, friendly, top quality service professionals. But I must say, Master Drains is the real deal! For future plumbing needs, I now know who to call!
