Poor management decision at Roxborough Marketplace liquors.

I stopped in to pick up some Fat Tire for a Christmas party, I had just shopped at the Safeway next store and had a bag of groceries. As I was walking to cashier to pay for the beer, my bag of groceries knocked a bottle of wine off an end cap. The bottle of wine broke, understanding I caused the breakage, I offered to pay for the cost of the wine, but not the retail cost of $12.99.

After asking multiply times for them to reconsider charging the full price for the wine, management rudely stated that they could have sold the wine for $12.99 and made the profit on that bottle.

I understand they lost the profit on that bottle of wine, I hope they also understand they also have lost the profit from my purchases in the future. I am a local resident and will just plan ahead for any liquor purchases in the future.
