I recently took my shotgun to good ole Shootin Shop South for a minor repair. And yes it is like a barber shop full of retired fellas talkin gabout how the world is going to hell in a hand basket and how they have all the answers if someone would just ask them. To continue. I was quoted $60 for my repair and that it would take up to a month because he, Scott, might need to do some huntin in that time frame. Well the repair did take nearly a month but came in at over four times the quoted price. When I questioned Scott about this all I got was a song and dance and I am not even sure he remembers what he quoted me as far as a price. The work was good but I never would have trusted them if I knew I was going to get ripped off by an alzheimer gunsmith. No offense to alzheimer patience intended. Shootin Shop South is a RIP OFF. Stay away if you value your money!

NOT wheelchair accessible. Very narrow isles. Dogs under wheels and no one willing to control their animals. Prices are reasonable(ish) but their selection of ammunition is minimal at best. I believe in customer feedback and reviews but I also believe in arriving at my own conclusions too. If you're able bodied and on a budget then this is the place for you. Very "no frills" establishment for the self service clientele.
