This customer’s dissatisfaction with Skylight Specialists, Inc. is something we do not take lightly and have taken several steps with the customer to help remedy the problem. We originally went out to this customer’s house and provided a bid for two different sizes of skylights. And, because he lives in the mountains and down in a valley we recommended the larger skylight with an option on a smaller skylight as well because both would add light to his space but the smaller was a less expensive option, as requested. The customer received a separate bid from another company on the smaller size, which was less cost than our bid. We matched that price and installed the skylights as requested and at that time he was unhappy with the amount of light he was getting from the newly installed skylights. One of our solutions was to re-install two Sun Tunnels that were improperly located and installed by a different company. And, to help him out we did this below are cost and as well replaced a dome that was cracked. This absolutely increased the amount of light in the space. We cannot guarantee light because it is an objective opinion and can vary greatly from person to person. That being said we strive to meet every one of our 8500 customers needs the best we can, and this customer was given the option for a larger skylight, which would have brought in more light, but he did not choose that option.

I had 2 skylights installed by this company in my kitchen. When the rep came out he assured me the skylights would make a big difference but they didn't. I have tried working with them but the answer is always to charge me more to remedy the problem. The project should have been studied by the rep to make the proper recommendation rather than just guess. I have spent a lot of money for very little additional light.However, the technician who did the work did an excellent job of installing them.

I am very disappointed with this company. I was looking to add additional lighting to my kitchen along with having my sky tunnels adjusted. The rep came out spec'ed everything in and gave me a quote. When the installer came out, what the rep said could be done; couldn't. The skylights are installed now , but not according to the reps original ideas and I don't get the lighting I was looking for. I complained to the company, and it took over a week to get the rep to respond. His solution was to spend an additional $900.00 to get the light I was looking for. This was out of my original budget and not what was originally promised so I am settling for what I have. The job was promised to be done in 2-days, but it took two weeks. I regret choosing this company.

Job was priced right, arrived on time, no problems! Everyone was really easy to work with, did a great job!

Skylight replaced all the windows on the north and west side of my house. The windows where installed on schedule and without any extras being charged. I would highly recommend Skylight Specialists for any skylight install or window replacement.######Great Work, Great Windows###Thanks
