Provided by YP.comI went to see Dr. Miller to have a planters wart removed. When I saw Dr. Miller on Monday he thought for sure that he could get me back in on Friday to have the procedure done as we were just waiting on Tricare approval for the procedure. I called his receptionist on Thursday and she informed that she was still waiting on Tricare approval. When I further inquired on exactly what she was waiting on, she explained that Tricare had requested the Dr.'s notes and that "She had not had time yet" to send in his notes. She would send in his notes "Just as soon as she possibly could. I was in tears with her on the phone, literally, explaining to her my pain, and at this time she got very short with me and told me she would get it done as soon as she could. Needless to say, she didn't care! She assured me she would call me just as soon as everything was approved. The following Tuesday, everything was finally sent in and Tricare approved the procedure. This was seven days from the initial visit! Do you think she called me? NOPE! In another SEVEN days....so now TWO WEEKS from the initial visit, she calls me and tells me that everything is approved from Tricare. Ridiculous! So, I go to the office and confront Dr. Miller to let him know that this is how his patients are being treated. I literally feel like I have a nail in my foot! And, oh by the way, did I mention to you that I have Fibromyalgia too which intensifies the pain? Dr. Miller would only speak to out in front of everyone and honestly, didn't even care what I had to say! All he wanted was to blame everything on Tricare, oh, it was Tricare's fault that it took so long....Oh, you should fault Tricare! I tried to tell him that it wasn't Tricare's fault that his receptionist took FIVE days, that I was aware of....to send Tricare his notes....but all he wanted to hear was that it was Tricare's fault....and that I can go anywhere else for treatment that I want to go! What a true lack of compassion for patients! PLEASE...if you fall under Tricare! DO NOT GO HERE! Your paperwork won't be pushed through if you need a procedure....and you won't be truly cared for anyway!!! I hope this helps the next patient who is in severe pain looking for a podiatrist!!
