Dr Ross Cooperman is double Board Certified in General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. After attending medical school at George Washington University, he completed a General Surgery residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. His surgical training continued with a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Louisville where he worked with renowned specialists in all disciplines of plastic surgery. He specifically focused his education on facial rejuvenation, breast reconstruction, and microsurgery. He has received numerous awards including US News and World Reports 2012 Top 50 Plastic Surgeons in New Jersey and 2013 Castle Connolly Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area. Throughout his career, he has also received Resident of the Year, Excellence in Teaching, and Academic Excellence awards. Dr. Cooperman is the official Plastic Surgeon for Seton Hall University Athletics. In 2010, he returned to Livingston and started his plastic surgery practice serving the surrounding communities. His efforts have focused on breast reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, and general reconstruction. One of his specialties includes breast reconstruction with a focus on microsurgical applications including the DIEP flap. He performs a wide array of cosmetic surgeries including facial rejuvenation, breast lifts and breast augmentation, post-weight loss surgery, body contouring, tummy tucks, and liposuction. He also offers injectables such as Botox, Restylan, and Juvederm.
