The Jewish Vocational Service of MetroWest is a nonprofit and nonsectarian agency that provides a wide range of employment, training, education and subcontracting services. Its workplace education and training program includes American sign language, business English, career awareness, listening skills and speedwriting. It offers foreign language program, including French, Italian and Spanish. Its technical training programs include blueprint reading, computer numerical-control devices, electronic and mechanical devices and systems and measuring instrument program. It provides health and safety training in accident investigation, air monitoring, driver course, electrical safety and security guard training. It also offers career planning and counseling services. The Jewish Vocational Service of MetroWest additionally provides a distance learning program and is located in East Orange, N.J.
