Listen closely when they're speaking in spanish. I was a regular patron until recently. I finished my meal and went to the register to pay and 3 workers were standing behind the cash register. I said "hello" and 2 of them said "hello". The third worker, whom I've never seen before, said "hola perro", which translates to "hello dog". After he said it, the other 2 kinda chuckled. I could hear him clearly as he was standing closest to me. I was shocked and continued to pay while trying process why he would say that to me. I thought about it for a couple days and decided to go back and speak to a manager. The manager apologized and said he would refund my money(which he never did). He also said that he's told them in the past to speak in english around customers. I haven't been back since and do not plan on going back.



For people who do not know, calling someone a "dog" in most other cultures is used as a derogatory term for someone who is of mixed race.
