The fries were horrible I tried it with gravy and ketchup and I barely tasted the stuff, the fries still tasted horrible. The chicken I could tell was homemade because it came a part easily which is okay. The decor wasn't very appealing. The ranch was a little runny, but tasted pretty good.

I've heard good things about Floridas over the years. For me, the food's fairly good, but nothing that just wows me.



I guess the pieced together old run down look is so far off of a great decor and environment, it might grow on you as "charming"; kind of like a dog that is so ugly, it's almost cute. The looks remind me of some of the off-the-beathen-path restaurants that were in New Orleans when I visited years back.



The lack of overhead costs don't seem to make the bbq dishes a bargain, but then, the people seem nice and I wouldn't deny the team of a decent profit.



Florida's has a lot of fans and for me it's a change now and then. Not a bad place at all and the people seem dedicated.

Best catfish and chicken fried steak around. Tammy is a great waitress
