I had my baby shower at Burton Manor a few months ago and it was fantastic. The room looked great, the wait staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. I will definitely being using Burton Manor again.

My wife and I had our wedding at Burton Manor in Livonia and simply put WOW! From the initial planning, to the food tastings, to the actual reception Burton Manor was on top of everything! While walking around the hall saying hello to everyone, i have never heard so many compliments. " The food is choice!" My cousin said, or "the staff was so curious and kind!" My wife's friends. These all fall short of my grandmothers approvals (not an easy to please) "everything is so lovely the food, the decorations, the attention to detail, it all came together so lovely."

If you are planning your wedding go to Burton Manor! Also make sure to check out the food tasting, like everything you have to remember if you pick the cheapest food items that's what you will get, so for the bad reviews remember this, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! If you go to the supermarket and want a porterhouse but only want to pay for a sirloin, what do you think you will get?

I have used Burton Manor for many events, but most recently for my daughters wedding on 7.16.16. The planning process was so much fun with Burton Manor and every detail was executed perfectly from our cocktail hour with a signature drink to our family style meal featuring Roast Tenderloin and Salmon. My sister just recently had her wedding there on May 22,2016. The venue was beautiful, the hor d'oeuvres were delicious so naturally u was excited about my meal. Boy was I dissapointed! The chicken was delicious, but the steak was so tough I could barely chew it and the mashed potatoes? I stuck my fork in them and the whole portion lifted off of my plate. My family has been in the food service business for 20 years catering large events. Never have we served anything of that nature. What a dissapointment.! Even at the finest eating establishments have I had a steak and potatoe so dissatisfying.

Had my wedding there and wow, what a regret. Don't let the venue fool you when you walk in and think you are getting a deal of a lifetime. Yesterday when I arrived to my reception I noticed all the chairs were ugly burgundy they did not put chair covers on like I asked. I asked for chair covers and our contact person there Alex we had met with us several times and even asked what color sash we wanted but forgot to charge us so they didn’t put them on and wouldn’t take it out of our deposit. My wedding planner got to the venue and the manager of the day was absolutely rude and unprofessional about it claiming it was never ordered and she was never told. My wedding planner said this was the most unprofessional venue she has ever worked with. When it was time for the meal, salads came out the literally no joke 20-30 minutes later the main dish came out, but only certain tables got their food don’t let me forget all the food was cold. We had a duet plate of steak and chicken and the chicken was so cold and gross people thought it was fish – ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? My dads table got their food, but my husband’s family did not have food 10 mins after my dad was served and their tables were right next to each other???? It took forever for food to come out my photographer and videographer felt bad for me because everything got pushed back an hour because of the terrible service. Not everyone was served cake, my family didn't even get to have my cake. I guess the servers were lazy and didn’t want to serve our over 200 guest. They were under staffed tried to hold too many weddings at one time and failed. None of the tables were cleared off through out the night there were still salad plates when cake was being served and some of my guest made glass towers because none of their glasses from the bar was removed. They turned the lights on during my first dance and someone had to yell at them to turn it off. Someone dropped salad on the floor and people had to walk over it and it was never cleaned up. The also had other people from different weddings coming in our wedding to use our bathrooms because the other ones were crowded??????????????? There was also servers bringing dirty dishes from other weddings into our hall to get through the kitchen because not all the rooms have an entry way to the back. I would advise future brides you get what you pay for and just because the venue looks nice and the prices are cheap doesn't necessarily mean that it would be nice. There are other places you can look. And Alex is fake he pretends like he cares but he doesn’t. Please go anywhere but here – now when me and my husband look at pictures from our wedding and see the ugly chairs it makes us want to cry.

I was at Burton Manor for a Christmas Party this year and was pleasantly surprised by the christmas decorations both inside and out. The food was excellent and their customer service was fantastic. I will definitely recomment Burton Manor to friends and family.
