Dr Smullen was my cat's worst nightmare. She diagnosed my cat with diabetes and then said that treatment could wait. She had some Vet conference she had to go to. She yelled at me when I complained that her assistant had not told Dr Smullen information about serious symptoms. My cat died horribly in her clinic of sepsis that affected his brain leading to grand mal seizures and death. Dr Smullen should have told me to take the cat to a Vet who was not going out of town. I had rescued the cat from a cat shelter and nurtured the cat for many years. She was surprised that my cat died of a very serious abdominal infection that she had failed to diagnose and untreated out of control diabetes. Poor judgement and bad communication on Dr Smullen's part and on her assistant's part. I should never have trusted Dr Smullen.

I've known Dr. Smullen for several years and can honestly say she is a very caring, hardworking, and dedicated veterinarian devoted to the caring of cats.
