Provided by YP.comI had a horrible experience here. Although the staff was very nice and accommodating to both my needs and my dogs needs, I brought my golden retriever in for a bath and an all over trim to bring her hair the the same length. On a golden that should mean trimming the fringe and perhaps trimming the body hair to get it all one length. They were nice enough to let me wait for my dog and to provide express service, but when my dog was brought out to me - she was COMPLETELY SHAVED! First I don't know how "trimmed to all one length making sure to trim her fringe" turned into a full body shave, but it is OCTOBER, what on earth would make someone think that I would want my dog to be shaved?
Upon contacting other groomers in the area - I was told that a full shave should have never been an option for a Golden Retriever - unless there was a medical reason, they should not be shaved down completely due to their coat. With this feedback it is very clear to me that although the staff is very friendly, they are not experienced with various dog breeds and the appropriate grooming techniques.
I would not recommend this location for grooming services and I will not bring my dog back to them.
I would like to start off by apoligizing to this unhappy customer. In the grooming world severl breeds are straight forword, a schnauzer cut, a cocker cut, or even a bichon cut. On other breeds which generally would only get there feet and sanitary tended to the particulars are a little iffy. There could be miscommunication involved or when the customer is trying to tell us what concerns them there are suggestions given from which the customer may choose. We are in the buisness of doing what is best for the dog and trying to implement what the owner wants. I personally would never suggest a shavedown for a golden retriever unless that is what the owner insisted on, which is why I can only assume that this was a grave misunderstanding and again on behalf of the entire Bark and Bath crew we send our deepest appologies.

Provided by YP.comI recently took my dog to Bark & Bath, and I couldnt believe the service that I got there. All of the ladies were extremely friendly & seemed like they really cared about their jobs as dog groomers. They did a great job with my pet & I will definetly return again, and recommend them to all of my friends and family.

Provided by YP.comI am a new mother of a 3 month old baby girl. I also have 2 precious dogs named sadie and rocky. Sadie is a welch corgi and rocky is a black lab. I got out of my car with the baby in her carrier, she was asleep at the time and I had sadie and rocky's leashes in the other hand. The receptionist came out running and grabed the leashes from my hand. I was so greatful. The lady's at Bark and Bath told me when I was ready to pick up my two dogs that all I have to do is call from my car and they will bring my dogs out to my car and they would take payment from the car also. I really like the idea that I don't have to take the baby , crrier, and dogs all by myself. Thank you Bark and Bath.

Provided by YP.comAt first, I thought they did a terrific job. Until the day I took my dog in and they were to pluck the hair from his ears. When I came to pick him up, the receptionist told me that the groomer, who had conveniently left, had cut my dogs ear. After we got home, my dog started whincing and yelping uncontrollably, so we took him to the vet. After having to get my dog's ear glued back together, and a $70.00 vet bill, we called Bark and Bath to talk to the groomer. She started saying that she was traumatized and furthermore, that she didn't feel that she owed us anything. We simply asked for our money from the groom, $40.00, back, and she agreed. My husband even told her that he knew she didn't do it intentionally, and offered to come there and personally give her a hug because she felt bad (He tried smoothing things out.) When we went to pick up the money, we were informed that we were no longer welcome back.
MMMmmm, you chop off a part of my dog's ear, which by the way, after 3 weeks, he is still shaking and hiding from people (we've been back to the vet twice- they say he's traumatized), and you kick us out. Don't worry, first time, shame on you, second time shame on me.
If you care about animals, you have an interesting way of showing it.
