On Saturday, a friend and I stopped by to check out a cute trailer I took notice of. We walked around and no one was to be seen so I tried the door and announced "Hello". A man came out to greet us but it was hardly a greeting. Arms were crossed against his chest and icy stare. I asked about the little teardrop and as I was lifting the visor of my helmet, it caused the headphones to make a rattle in my ears so I could not hear what exactly he said, so for clarification, I responded with a "Pardon Me?" . Mr. Personality snapped at me in a condescending tone with "If you removed your helmet you might hear me". My hearing is fine and I let him know that in a firm but polite way...it went downhill from there, I do not know if it was the Northwestern Dental "gang colors" I was wearing or my friend's "Ghostrider" style jacket, that ticked off Mr. Personality, but both my friend and I felt we were judged by him. I had cash and was willing to purchased that day, but after that encounter, I would not take it if it was given to me. I also would not take a snowball from Mr. Personality if I were in Death Valley. I worked customer service jobs in the past and would have been severely reprimanded if not fired for the treatment that was given to us. To the lady that put that sweet little teardrop in for consignment, you lost that sale.

This is a relatively small family operation out in the country, but it is well managed and focused on maintaining and selling RVs. There is no separate sales staff so nobody is hovering over you if you are looking. Very friendly and sincere. I have high confidence that they are honest and fair. Their parts and accessory inventory is modest so repairs may require parts to be ordered, but they are prompt and things get done when promised. No safety inspections.

Apperson's was recommended to us by a salesman with Southern States in Culpeper. We have been taking our motor home to them for 2 years now and are very pleased with the service we receive. I would recommend them to anyone who needs RV service needs or is looking for an RV.
