The Lodi Police Department provides law enforcement services, promotes public safety and protects the rights and property of residents in Lodi, Calif. The support division is responsible for the supervision of the property, dispatch, records and general investigative units. The operations division manages the general patrol, bicycle patrol, park control and traffic units. The department also operates a number of special units, including the bomb squad, the special weapons and tactics unit, the critical incident negotiation team, the K-9 unit, the major accident investigative team, the public information office, the field evidence technicians and the honor guard. The Lodi Police Department consists of three districts and five patrol beats.
