I recently had my backhoe serviced at New Holland of Logansport and was given an estimate amount for a reasonable amount to which I was OK with. Once they began working on it, they found other issues which would be an additional few hundred dollars to which I was OK with again. However, when I received my invoice the total amount was ridiculously higher than quoted. I immediately called and tried to speak with the Service Manager, Ralph, to which I never heard back from and therefore, never sent any payment. About two months later Ralph called to find out why I hadn't paid the invoice, YES, two months later! He said he had already discounted the "sublet labor" significantly, but unfortunately that sublet labor was "a lot more than anticipated". He explained that he felt bad, but it is what it is. I told him I would pay this invoice, but will NEVER be coming back and he said "I understand". I had every intention (before this incident) of purchasing a newer backhoe from New Holland of Logansport or Rochester, but after this experience with them (and particularly the customer-service-challenged Ralph Service Manager) I will NOT EVER be dealing with them again.
