Provided by YPmobileTheses idiots barely know there refrigeration gauges from a volt meter. The tech said he repaired a leak in the coil but never even broke out his torches, didn't evacuate or vacuum pull unit. Guess what it still leaks you f@$!ING idiots.

Provided by YPmobileWas not impressed with our office staff. I gave them a high rating due to the technician that came out in service my unit. He was an older guy name Tim. If anybody knows were that technician is please let me know. I recently found out he does not work for that company anymore. Said they lost a good technician but someone else must have gained a good technician. A technician knew what he was doing hard to find. Email me if anybody knows who I'm talking about and where he is so I can send my business there I wish I knew his last name

Provided by YP.comAwful, terrible, the worst! (I would have given zero stars if I could). Home warranty company sent them. The techs don't seem to know much about HVAC and cause more damage than anything. I've been without AC for a month and today they didn't show--this was the fourth attempt at fixing my 2 year old AC that originally only needed freon. I am hot and I am furious. I have insisted AHS send me a new company as I refuse to let these incompetents on my property again. Don't let them near your AC; you will regret it.

Provided by YP.comThis is the worst contractor I have ever experienced. They are unprofessional and lack the technical skills to resolve problems. I have had a problem with my central air conditioning unit and used Piedmont Mechanical, it took 45 days of dealing with them weekly, there have been over 5 service calls to my home. I have asked to speak to a supervisor or the owner for 2 weeks and was ignored. Now, the problem has still not been resolved and I have flooding in my bedroom ceiling and they have told me that is not their problem. I did not expect perfection, but I did expect accountability for completing the work and also for any damages that may have resulted from their negligence. I have interacted with at least 3 of their service tech, nice guys but can’t fix a problem. They also do not work on your problem on consecutive days. They visited my home once a week for 5 weeks. I would NEVER use or recommend this company for the above reasons.

Provided by YP.comThis company is still horrible.
I don't mind paying for a fair days work, but what I do mind is someone incapable of explaining how they came to the charges trying to strong-arm me and my family into paying an outrageous charge for unnecessary work. I don't know about you, but I work hard for my money and I don't like being swindled.

Provided by YP.comTerrible Service. Unscrupulous. Horrible business practices. They were sent by warranty provider to replace A/C coil. Asked them to send non-covered costs via email. They did the day before. non-covered costs would be $550, with $250 for a wet switch. I am contractor in another industry so know that wet switch costs $35.00 and 15 Min. tops to put in if that was all you were doing. Replied to the email asking what type of wet switch 15 min later. Float type wet switches cost a little more so I was going get the right information before asking to lower the wet switch price. Never got a response. Tech shows up and I ask to see wet switch. It is $35 (retail) version. I call and talk to Joe to ask to reduce $ 250 price on $35 wet switch. He says no. I ask again he says what would I like to pay. I say about $100.00 (that is double retail plus almost half hour labor for $35 part). He says no thanks I will pull my technicians from the job. So he pulls his techs, leaving my air conditioner broken, causes me to have to spend an hour explaining what happened to American Home Shield and now find my own contractor over $125 when he would have been paid over $1200.00 to do the work and still double his money on a $35.00 switch. Foolish business person and terrible customer service.

Provided by YP.comLet me start by saying that I don't usually do these reviews, especially negative; however, this company is so despicable that I am in the process of negatively reviewing it on every site that I can find. I only wish there was a "0" star rating. Everyone should be warned to stay away!!!
This company should be ashamed of themselves! We had work done about a month ago by one of the techs, Timmy. He neglected to put pieces of the A/C unit back like they should have been. Because of this, our attic flooded and the upstairs bathroom ceiling is falling. They claim to not be responsible for "secondary damage" (this is only after repeatedly calling & James not returning my calls). Whatever happened to businesses with ethics? This company has no morals or decency. I have decided to sue them and have also contacted the BBB. In addition, I'm dropping AHS b/c they are using companies that are of poor quality (Piedmont has an "F" rating w/ the BBB)& sending them into people's homes.
