Provided by YP.comI was informed by a service advisor the price for a oil change was:$40.88. Then when I got there the price went up to $80.00. I didn't want the tire rotation it seemed like it was pushed on me. Is this called: Up Sale. Next: I saw lots of negative reviews on the sales department. Is this called: Bait & Switch. Now another thing: I don't need the service advisor giving me a tap on the back or shoulder after I pay the cashier. I'm not wearing a shirt that says: Touch me please. This is still : Assault. Calif. Penal Code: 240. I honestly believe, the service advisors and all mechanics should volunteer to prove they are honest. This includes the owner, sales and all mechanics. Step# 1. No. Lie. M. Provided by YP.comBrace yourselves for the story from hell…and it is all true!
Today I drove over 2 hours to see a car at this dealership. When I arrived I was not greeted and after speaking briefly with a person in sales was shown their selection of the type of car I was looking for. I made sure to make clear to the salesman the price range that I needed the vehicle to be in and exactly what I was looking for. When I asked him for the best price, he would not negotiate nor would he talk with a manager about making a deal. My spouse and I left, surprised at the rudeness.
We decided to call and speak to another person later that evening because we had traveled so far. With the warm reception we had over the phone and being told that the price could already be brought down we decided to go back. Biggest mistake. We were introduced to a gentleman who said that he was the sales manager. He apologized and said that he would be working with us as soon as he was done finishing up a sale with someone else. After 20min he came back. He wasted 30 min of our time driving around and around the back lots looking for a car before remembering that he had sold it a little while ago. We were very upfront on what we were looking for and wanted to spend. We went inside. He then said that he was able to get the price of the cars from $14,900 to $13,900 and the other from $14,300 to $13,400. When we said that it was too much for us he said that he could get the price down on the lower one to $12,995. However, when we asked for the out-the-door price he was not able to give us an amount. He would only give us a large and vague range. This was strange so we left. Before we were out of the parking lot he came out and kept talking to us. We pointed out that it was late, but he assured us that it was no problem and was completely fine. He still refused to give us the final price and kept us standing around for 30-40min waiting for him to give us a number. Finally we discovered that he was NOT a manager, and that he was hiding from us (LITERALLY!) behind a counter in the sales office. In the meantime, another employee who works in financing walks up to us and starts yelling that they are closed and wants to know what we want. When we try to explain that we are waiting for the total price on the vehicle we were going to purchase and had been waiting for over half an hour, he starts yelling about the price and starts quoting prices much higher than what we had been told. Finally the real sales manager came out looking filthy and rudely tells us that the amount we were told was wrong and implied that we were liars. We tried to explain the amount that we had been told and that all we wanted to know was what the final price would be, however he refused to listen and kept yelling that the final price was higher. The sales man who lied about being a manager then changed his mind and said that he had not offered us that price. After practically screaming at us, and giving us the rudest and most disrespectful treatment we had ever received, we were able to leave. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!
NEVER GO HERE!! There is even more to this story but the website won’t let all of it in. I felt sick in the pit of my stomach all the way home! I have never been treated this AWFUL IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!

Provided by YP.comAvoid it like the plague! I went there last night (drove almost 2 hours) with my wife to look at a car. They knew I was coming but didn't bother to clean up the car one bit. It had dirt stains on the seat and exterior. Even though I had a bank check and financing in hand Mario told me if he didn't get me to fill out a credit check form he would get fired on the spot (kind of shady). I specifically told them I had financing already and I did not want to have my credit checked. I had to say this about 10 times before they understood.
Then once it came to talking about the price of the car I showed them their own Carfax report for the car which showed it was worth nearly $1000 less than what they were asking factoring in the blue book value but despite this they would not negotiate the price 1 cent, not 1. The manager hiding in his sales office didn't even come out. I think he just wanted to go home and get us out of there. If you want to get a good deal on a car and good customer service, don't bother going to Spreen used Honda.

Provided by YP.comSo I was pleasantly surprised last month when I finally decided to visit my local Honda dealer to check out what options I had. Recently I had purchased a used Odyssey (private party) which ran GREAT.... til it didn't. Soon we found out it needed a whole new transmission and we were talking about a several thousand dollar repair bill. knowing we had no recourse from the seller we started out in tow with family and decided to go to Spreen. Now it's been awhile since I last shopped for a car but the first thing that surprised me was no one was 'bugging' us. And these guys really wear blue shirts and are there to be helpful. Eventually a salesman (Erman). did assist us in checking out a few models we were interested in and let us know what he could do for us. in the end we were directed to a John Awabdy who really made it work for us. We went back and forth disagreeing on most things, agreeing on few but he didn't give up on us. He persevered and in the end he made us "the offer we couldn't refuse" and we walked out of Spreen Honda on June 22 with a 2013 Dodge Caravan with enough bells and whistles that even our two teenage sons approved. We did this without the usual hassles that you might think you might encounter visiting a dealership on a late Sunday afternoon with nothing more than a signature in hand. We thank Mr. Awabdy for his patience and truly taking the time with us to come up with a deal that worked for us. And to top it off I was asked to bring in my Honda van a couple days later and was given a check. All in all a very satisfying experience. Thank you again John Awabdy!
Sincerely, E. Halbrook

Provided by YP.comOur experience to buy a new Honda Odyssey 2014 Touring Elite was consist of following 4 steps.
Internet Price:
I got a good price from Zach (their business developer on the internet) for Odyssey.
Sales Person / Sales Department:
We went to the dealership at 6:30 pm and Salesman John Awabdy met us. He helped us to buy the odyssey at the same price and same day and the color we were looking for. John is very hardworking and good salesman. we ended up our transaction at 12:00 am in the morning and John was side by side during that time. He also helped us in to get very competitive financing rate from Honda Financing. I recommend John Awabdy for his good services.
Finance Department:
In the Finance department Mr. Peet was very nice and cool even in way after hours. Later on we transferred the loan to our credit union for little better interest rate.
Note:
As we went to the dealership at 6:30 pm, though we got the color we were looking for, which is hard to find some time but I would recommend to get the car in the day light. The van was pretty dusty and needed a good detail.
Service Department:
Mr. Jim "the manager" was very nice and mature guy but I think he needs to look at their customer service reps and also workers in the workshop.
They didn't detail the van properly at the first time and then I went again for complete detail and for installation of $600 accessories. Their job was so so and also poor and rude dealing. They worked on the car for 4 hours and they didn't offer courtesy car for free and charged a day as rental. We purchased a van of 46 grand and they can't offer a loaner car for free. This is a difference between luxury cars like Acura and Lexus as compare to Honda and Toyota. I have asked them to fix the moon roof rubber which they couldn't and just told me these things are common on such vans ..............starange :).
Instead they service department put two tiny hard marks on the wind shield right in front of the driver, which is pretty sad.
Let see how it goes down the road with service department. I think they can earn more money if they improve their service quality.
In the end nothing is ideal in this world. We are happy and thank GOD and we are also thankful to spreen honda and their overall services. God Bless Spren Honda.

Provided by YPmobileI came to Spreen Honda after going to another dealership who claimed to have lower prices. When I arrived at Spreens competitor, I found out the total amount financed included unwanted items. I didn't want the added cost, and came to Spreen. Jason was the one who greeted me, found the car I wanted, and gave me the best price. I had extra monies to buy the security for my Honda. Go to Spreen and ask for Jason.

Provided by YP.comI drove all the way from Chino Hills to Spreen Honda because they gave me the best value on a 2008 Honda Element compared to so many other Honda dealerships. When I walked in, I was greeted by James Manego, the sales associate. I was impressed by his friendly demeanor and professionalism. The price got me into the door, but the exceptional service, provided by James, was what got me into the driver's seat of MY new car. No games, no hassles, no headache. Kindness goes a long way in my book. That's why I am a happy customer. No buyer's remorse on this purchase. Thanks James!

Provided by YP.comI am proud to say that I am the owner of a brand new 2012 Accord! Honda has a great reputation already, but Spreen Honda in particular is a great place to get a new car. They offered me an amazing price that I couldn't refuse. My salesperson, James Manego, made my car-buying experience a pleasant one. James was very polite and did not make me feel pressured at all to buy. At most car dealerships, they are so aggressive and in your face. It was a welcome change to be treated with respect. I am enjoying my car, and I actually enjoyed my experience at a car dealership. I would recommend anyone and everyone to buy a car from Spreen Honda. Ask for James Manego. He'll get you into the car you're looking for at an awesome price without the hassles.

Provided by YP.comFeeling apprehensive about buying a new vehicle with a trade-in to manage, I decided to take a chance using Spreen Honda as a USAA member. It was by far, the best and most rewarding car purchasing experience I've had. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new Honda.
Everyone I met was professional, courteous, kind and personable. Simon Lopez, the Internet Sales Manager was honest, accurate, and patient with my many questions over email. He gave me the best price on a new Accord! Thanks Simon! James Manego, my salesperson, made sure I got the car, the options, and the attention I needed to make an informed decision. Kevin McGrath helped me get the best financing, so that I could meet my budget and not regret that payment every month. Finally, Paul Clark in Finance, thoroughly prepared all of my paperwork so that I could walk out of the dealership feeling great about my new purchase.
I would recommend this dealership to everyone wanting a hassle free, pleasant experience. The drive is totally worth it!
Thank you Spreen Honda and all of my new friends there!
