not sure why, it might be the people in Lompoc or the cramped...errrrr....cozy space for this Starbucks, but the volume level can reach levels which drive folks out. Truly, this is easily the loudest, to the point of being obnoxious, Starbucks in California.

The saving grace is the staff is very friendly and a pleasure to interact with...the place needs to either be much bigger or remodeled to address noise as well as the sun through the window-walls. The sun blasts through the windows all day long. They do have shades which help but are not always effective enough.

I still enjoy my visits, I simply put in some noise cancelling headphone/earbuds.
