My mother attended Valley Haven for four years after she was diagnosed with dementia. She was a widow and lived alone. She had begun to withdraw for her social connections. Valley Haven gave my mother a place to spend her day in the company of other seniors without judgement. Transportation was provided as well as snacks, lunch and various activities. Mom always looked forward to her Valley Haven Days, three times a week. If you are the caregiver of a senior that has become socially isolated or has Dementia, Valley Haven is a wonderful option that serves the Lompoc area.
