Established in 1978, South Elementary School is a public early educational institution providing education to students in grades one to five. It has an enrollment of more than 600 students and offers special education teachers, guidance counselors, and occupational, speech and language pathologists. It also offers courses in art, music, physical education and reading. Additionally, it offers special programs including math enrichment programs, the Art to Art program and a program for gifted and talented students in grades four and five. Its music department offers courses in band, orchestra, chorus and instrument lessons. The activities offered by the school include a drama club and chess and computer clubs. The school s physical education department also organizes cross-country racing and adventure programs. The school is a part of the Londonderry School District and is located in Londonderry, N.H.
