Lone Star Steel is a manufacturer and distributor of tubular products for energy, industrial and automotive applications. The company has been in operation for more than 45 years, beginning with the setting up of the Oil Country Tubular Goods and Line Pipe in 1953 and Specialty Tubing in 1969. Located in Lone Star, Texas, the firm has more than 1,500 employees who manufacture and finish pipes and tubes in sizes ranging from 22.23-to-409.58 millimeter outside diameter. It is also one of the first domestic steel tube and pipe produces to be certified to ISO 9001. The company has professional memberships with a number of institutions, including the American Petroleum Institute, Steel Manufacturers Association, and Association of Iron and Steel Engineers.
