Rick has reminded me that if you are willing to show up and be honest, and you find a great therapist to help you, the experience can be life changing. My wife and I have been to other couples therapists, but with Rick he helped us see things we never saw before, and our marriage is as strong as it ever has been. I also have had various family members see him, including my dad who is a psychologist, and everyone shares similar results. One thing you might want to consider, which we requested so I am not sure if this is typical or not, is my wife and I went weekly for our couples sessions, ranging between 1 and 2 hours, but every other week we individually saw him. Personally, having done it the other way several times, I can't imagine not doing it this way. It really changed the experience for me in some important ways.



Anyway, finding reviews on therapists still seems to be next to impossible, so I at least felt it was important to post this for those looking.
