C.A.R.E. Clinic provides treatment plans that include HIV medical care, treatment education and nutrition counseling services. Its HIV treatment education and advocacy services include one-on-one HIV treatment counseling, peer treatment support, community educational forums and access to the most up-to-date treatment, information and resources. The clinic provides risk reduction counseling and educational activities through the C.A.R.E. Link program. C.A.R.E. Clinic accepts insurance plans from Medicare and Medi-Cal, as well as major private health insurance companies. It is a part of the Comprehensive AIDS Resource and Education (C.A.R.E.) program at St. Mary Medical Center, which is a nonprofit program that helps meet the medical and social needs of people affected with HIV throughout Los Angeles County, Calif. C.A.R.E. Clinic is located in Long Beach, Calif.
