The El Torito chains are usually fairly good and exciting. The Cerritos one is one of the not-so-great ones though with a lackluster staff and food that has come out fairly cold or not-so-well cooked. It's worth it for the buffet sometimes but otherwise, its best to choose another city's El Tortio.

Had a fabulous time here with my partner. Good drinks (house margaritas are yummy! and I'm not a margarita drinker) and prompt service on a Friday night. Food came fast, drinks came well mixed, everything was perfect on our night. Food was just as ordered and our waiter was great. 4 stars only because well, it's El Torito.
