Kay’s photography combines technical proficiency, patience, intuition, and her unique artistic sensibilities. Whether it’s a child’s inquisitive expression, a newborn infant’s first gasp of air, or an outraged protester stalking the streets of Los Angeles, Kay  goes about her chosen passion and profession with an eye for the moment and a heart for beauty. And Kay’s natural empathy for people helps her capture her subjects in a candid and organic manner. Kay works hard to make her clients feel comfortable enough to let their guards down and be themselves in front of her camera because that is when the best photographs are taken. Note that Kay documents images from a photojournalist perspective. Which may differ from a traditionalist, in which poses are more natural and not statuesque.
