My background is in the modern field of depth psychology, which originates in the work of Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud. Depth psychology allows us to pay attention to the significance of the unconscious, to acknowledge the importance of the imaginal, and to respect our dreams. Essentially, depth psychology takes us beneath the surface. I call what I do, "Soul Work." I spend the amount of time necessary to reveal what lies beneath or, what is behind the behaviors in which we participate, that do not serve us. I also work closely with adolescent girls and women, assisting them with discovering their power, their voice, and cultivating a deep sense of self-worth.
