Located on a bluff over looking the ocean, the magnificent Long Beach Museum of Art is a unique effort by the local community of Long Beach to preserve local and renowned art collections. LBMA cycles through many interesting and beautiful collections through the year, focusing on the education and enriching of local youths and adults alike. LBMA is visited by more than 100,000 visitors a year, of which more than 12,000 are students, educators, and family visitors who participate in free educational programs. LBMA is also home to the fantastic Claire's restaurant, as well as the LBMA store, which features such interesting gifts as books, arts, and exhibition catalogs.
