Founded in 1990, MSRC is a nonprofit, national spill response company dedicated to response services to personnel involved in handling, storage and transport of oil and petroleum products. Its capabilities include a large inventory of vessels, equipment and trained personnel, complemented by a large contractor workforce in numerous locations in the continental United States, Hawaii and the Caribbean. The company also provides dedicated access to alternative response technologies, such as in situ burn kits and aerial / vessel dispersant spraying. MSRC provides its services from its four regional response centers (Edison, N.J.; Houston, Texas; Concord, Calif.; and Everett, Wash.), as well as 80 other prepositioned equipment.
